With unlimited photo/video storage on Android devices, Google photos will now offer limited storage for some videos. Google photos saved lives in the event of a possible file loss by backing up our photos on our Android devices. Google photos withdrew support from users in an unlimited way of backing up unsupported video formats. At the beginning of this week, Google reexplained the formats supported in the Photos app.
Google defines the video formats that are supported in the Photos app “mpg, .mod, .mmv, .Tod, .wmv, .asf, .avi, .divx, .mov, m4v, .3gp, .3g2, .mp4, .m2t, .M2TS, .MTS and .mkv “. Google does not provide unlimited storage for video files other than those formats. The majority of users are not affected by this update. It looks like the advanced users are going to be pretty bored.
Advanced users often use; Many formats are no longer backed up by Google photos, including the VOB format, the RAW format of photos and videos that are unprocessed/uncompressed. Users who want to back up files are advised to purchase Google’s paid cloud app for Google One.
