The tablet model, which is estimated to be Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0, appeared in the Geekbench database with the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. Let’s take a closer look at the emerging features of the device.
The tablet, which appears in the Geekbench database with the model code SM-T505, works with the Android 10 operating system. The model, which comes with a 3 GB RAM capacity, seems to be affordable. The model of the chipset that powers the tablet is not certain yet. However, it appears that the processing unit, which appears under the model name “Bengal”, has 2 quad-core clusters that operate at frequencies of 1.8 and 2.0 GHz. When we look at the graphic unit, we see the Adreno 610 running at 980 MHz. The resulting features show that the chipset in question is Snapdragon 662. Compared to its predecessor, Snapdragon 665, 662, which offers enhanced Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, is a bit behind on the connection side.
The Snapdragon 662 chipset, which is predicted to power the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0, consists of 4 Kryo 260 Gold cores (A73 based) and 4 Kryo 260 Silver (A53 based). On the connection side, the X11 LTE modem promises download speeds up to 396 Mbps and upload speeds up to 150 Mbps. These speeds are slower than the X12 modem in Snapdragon 665, but in real life conditions the difference will be invisibly small.
Let us also mention that the features that are the subject of our news are based on leaks and may differ in the promotion of the device.
