The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite aims at a value-focused balance of screen, camera, and battery. This review looks at the design and build, the AMOLED display, day-to-day performance and software, the quad rear camera, and the large battery, and it closes with the users it suits best.
Design & Build
The Mi Note 10 Lite uses curved lines on both sides. It measures 157 mm long, 74 mm wide, and 9.7 mm thick, and it weighs 204 grams. It is on the thick and heavy side, and the rounded edges do not fully hide that heft in the hand.
The back is glass, protected by Gorilla Glass 5, which sets it apart from the plastic backs common in this segment. An aluminum frame runs around the edge, with the volume and power buttons on the right, next to the SIM tray. The phone is dual SIM, and it does not accept a microSD card, so users who rely on expandable storage will not find it here.
The lower edge carries a speaker grille, a USB-C port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Audio comes from a single speaker; there is no stereo output.

Display
The screen is a 6.47-inch AMOLED panel at 1080×2340 pixels, with HDR10 support. The curved edges keep the side bezels thin and give a wide field of view. Gorilla Glass 5 protects the front as well as the back. There is no factory screen film applied, though the box includes a silicone case for the back.
Brightness reaches around 600 nits on average, which is high and makes the panel easy to read in bright conditions.
Performance & Software
The Mi Note 10 Lite runs an eight-core Snapdragon 730G: two Kryo 470 Gold prime cores at 2.2 GHz and six efficiency-oriented Kryo 470 Silver cores at 1.8 GHz, paired with the Adreno 618 GPU. The unit reviewed here has 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, and a 128 GB variant also exists. Because the phone has no microSD slot, the larger 128 GB option is worth weighing for users who store a lot locally.
In benchmarks, the phone scores 268,914 points in AnTuTu and 547 single-core and 1,765 multi-core in Geekbench.

The phone ships with Android 10 and Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 interface. In daily use it stays fluid and handles everyday apps with room to spare. Gaming is comfortable in titles such as PUBG and Asphalt 9, with smooth play and little heat build-up under load.
The fingerprint sensor sits under the display, and face recognition through the camera is available as a second unlock method. Connectivity covers aptX HD and aptX Adaptive audio, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
Camera
The rear array has four cameras. The main sensor is a 64 MP Sony IMX686 with an f/1.9 aperture, phase-detection and laser autofocus, and a 26 mm wide-angle lens. By default it outputs 16 MP through pixel binning; a toggle in the camera interface enables full 64 MP capture. The Mi Note 10 Lite does not include optical image stabilization.
The second camera is an 8 MP ultra-wide, the third a 2 MP macro, and the fourth a 5 MP depth sensor at f/2.4. The rear block carries four LED flashes in yellow and white. Video records at 4K/30, with 120 fps slow motion in Full HD and up to 960 fps in HD.
Photo quality is strong. In good light the camera captures vibrant, sharp, detailed frames with a wide dynamic range that avoids over-saturating the scene, and the 64 MP mode adds further detail. The zoom offers 0.6x, 1x, and 2x steps and stretches to 10x; results at 10x are soft but usable. Portrait mode works on both the front and rear cameras and produced good sample shots. An AI toggle recognizes the scene and adjusts the shot automatically.
In dim light the rear camera loses some clarity, and night mode helps by reducing blur, recovering color, and improving detail. The 16 MP front camera records HDR and Full HD/30 video and takes good selfies in proper light, but its night shots grow grainy and lose quality as the light drops.
Battery
The battery is 5,260 mAh, large for this class of phone, and it stretches to roughly 1.5 days of use. It plays streamed video for almost 19 hours, and in a Full HD local video test it reached 23 hours in total. The bundled 30-watt charger fills it to full in about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Who Is Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite For?
The Mi Note 10 Lite fits users who want a bright AMOLED screen, a very long-lasting battery, and a capable 64 MP main camera at a value price, along with a glass back and a headphone jack. It is a comfortable everyday and light-gaming phone. It is a weaker match for those who need expandable storage, stereo speakers, or optical image stabilization for video and low-light stills, since none of those are present.
