The Logitech G432 is an entry-level gaming headset with 7.1 virtual surround that carries over the features of its predecessor, the G430. This review looks at how the G432 handles comfort and build, its sound and software, its connections, and its microphone.
Design and Comfort
In design, the G432 does not stray far from the G430. The clearest change is the ear cushions. The earlier blue fabric pads are washable and durable but warm the ears over long sessions, and the G432 replaces them with artificial leather pads that feel slightly firm yet more comfortable. The headset weighs 280 grams, which is neither light nor heavy, and it stays comfortable through long use.
The metal-supported headband carries over in almost the same form, and the ear cups rotate 90 degrees inward, which helps in an office setting. On the G230 and G430, the plastic joint where the ear cups meet the headband cracked easily, though it kept working; on the G432 there is no noticeable change in build or plastic quality.
Sound Quality

The 50mm drivers pair with DTS Headphone:X 2.0, switched on through the G HUB software, and deliver satisfactory virtual surround. The frequency response runs from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
In games, sounds, effects, and explosions come through cleanly. The bass is weak, the same as on the G430, and at higher volume the sound can turn scratchy. Music playback is modest and is not aimed at audiophiles.
Connections and Controls
The G432 relies on Logitech’s G HUB software, which is capable but can be troublesome. The headset skips RGB lighting, yet G HUB still covers the settings that matter, from toggling DTS to basic adjustments.
DTS virtualization requires the USB DAC that ships in the box. Over that USB connection, the G432 also works with a PS4 or a Switch docked to a TV. Through the 3.5 mm jack, it connects to mobile devices as well. The box includes a 2-meter 3.5 mm cable and a 3.5 mm splitter adapter that separates the headphone and microphone plugs.
Microphone
The microphone is a clear step up from the G430, whose microphone drew the most criticism. The new 6 mm microphone transmits clear, stable sound in both games and calls, and the pop filter on it does its job. The boom is non-removable, and there is no light to show when it is active, but moving it gives a distinct click, so its state is easy to confirm. Users can position the microphone where they want without effort.
Who Is Logitech G432 For?
The Logitech G432 suits users who want an entry-level gaming headset with 7.1 virtual surround and a comfortable fit for long sessions. It fits those who value clear in-game audio and a microphone that improves markedly on the G430, and who do not need RGB lighting or heavy bass. Users after rich low-end or audiophile-grade music playback will find it modest there, but for everyday gaming and voice chat it holds up well.
